Industrial Attachment

Introduction

IKOP Sdn. Bhd., hereinafter to be referred to as “IKOP”, offers an opportunity to students or members of the public who wish to conduct industrial training at IKOP. Acceptance for industrial training is subject to company schedule. Applicants are advised to indicate the preferred period of training. IKOP does not provide accommodation and transport.

Classification of Trainees

Trainees may come from any of the following groups:

  1. Students pursuing Diploma/Bachelor degree.
  2. Students pursuing postgraduate degree: Master/Ph.D.
  3. Staff or academia from a government or private sectors.
  4. Graduates who wish to have industrial working experience.
  5. Students pursuing Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Marketing.

Scope of training

The trainee may propose the type of industrial attachment. Otherwise, IKOP will use the standard format as in Table 1 with a total training period of eight weeks.

7. Warehousing/storage 1
8. Customer complaints  
    -handling by technical service, corrective and preventive measures 1
9. Audit and documentation 5
10. Research & Development 5

Working hours

Working hours shall be from 08:30 to 17:30 Monday-Friday.

Conduct

Trainees must abide by company rules.

Fee

Based on the training scheme specified in Table 1, the fee shall be as indicated in Table 2 below.
